Letters exchanged between reformers from 1895-1943, mostly between J. Horace McFarland, Mira Dock, and Warren Manning, but also between individuals important in Pennsylvania forestry. Collection includes reflections from Dock and McFarland and Manning on their lives of improvements; details about Harrisburg in the early 20th century; and important civic organizations involved in the improvement movement. Celebration of J. Horace McFarland.
